Alumni
In less than 25 years as a chartered chapter, the Epsilon Rho chapter of Sigma Pi has graduated nearly 250 alumni members. An established Alumni Club was chartered shortly after the chapter charter which is still in operation today. The alumni chapters helps the chapter in a number of ways, including financially.In 2002, alumni met to form a housing corporation and launch a $450,000 capital campaign to join the Drury fraternity quad and prepare for the building of a new fraternitry house. The money was raised extremely quickly from alumni contributions. Drury matched the pledge and in Fall 2003, the active chapter occupied the new $1.5 million house.
To foster the connection between the alumni and active members, we organize two or more alumni functions each year, publish a bi-annual report, send out monthly alumni updates via e-mail, and invite alumni to attend chapter meetings and functions. In addtion, we've launched a new project known as the "Online Alumni Connection," in an effort to connect newly graduated members with alumni members in established careers and industries.
